Urmia Petrochemical is located in the southwest of Urmia city, km 30 of Urmia-Mahabad road on a land of 110 hectares with an industrial area of 50 hectares and 60 hectares of green space and sewage pools. The raw materials of the complex are urea, ammonia, sulfur, and potassium chloride, and its water is supplied from two wells near the complex. The complex has 4 process units for the production of melamine crystal, ammonium sulfate, sulfuric acid, potassium sulfate, and hydrochloric acid, and ancillary services that supply water, steam, air, nitrogen, electricity distribution, and tanks.
