The urgent and increasing need for chemical fertilizers and animal supplements containing phosphorus in the country, as well as the empty capacities of other industries that consume phosphoric acid, which is estimated to exceed one million tons per year, as well as the high volume of annual imports of phosphoric acid and phosphate fertilizers from abroad, the need to build whatever Faster, a phosphoric acid production unit in the country will be strongly felt. In addition, according to the approvals of the General Assembly of Razi Petrochemical Company, the only phosphoric acid production plant in the country was built in 1346 due to heavy consumption and unaffordability of its production and environmental pollution. (This unit has been stopped since the beginning of 2017) Considering this, the plan for the production of phosphoric acid by the private sector has been carried out for two years since 1379 for the construction of a factory for the production of phosphoric acid with a capacity of 125,000 tons per year, and after preparing a technical and economic justification report in 1380, It has taken the following measures in order to implement the usual plan: Submitting the technical and economic justification report on 11/2/2013 to the Bank of Sanat and Mine to use the facilities of the foreign currency reserve account for the provision of foreign machinery and equipment for the project, and Obtaining approval in principle on 11/14/1380 from the Organization of Industries and Mines of Khuzestan Province. Since the operation of the new phosphoric acid production unit is associated with the purchase of sulfuric acid from Razi Petrochemical Company and the sale of the major part of the produced phosphoric acid to that company, the consent of National Petrochemical Industries Company to participate in this project was obtained on 7/2/1381. Following the agreements relating to the Purchase of sulfuric acid in the amount of 363,000 tons per year, use of ship unloading services and storage of phosphate soil, and sale of phosphoric acid to Razi Petrochemicals in the amount of 100,000 tons per year, and finally purchase of ancillary services: electricity, compressed air, steam water (Utility) from the company's general assembly Razi Petrochemical was obtained.
