Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company (BIPC) is located on a land area of about 270 hectares, on the northwestern side of the Persian Gulf in Khuzestan province, 105 km southeast of Ahvaz and 84 km east of Abadan in Bandar-e- Mahshahr city. Ease of access to feedstocks, fuel, and raw materials, uses of road facilities, railway network, and maritime transport, the existence of an airport, and access to the required water are the main features that justify the choice of this place.
